GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — Jury selection picks back up Monday in the trial of three men accused of killing Ahmaud Arbery.
Channel 2′s Tony Thomas is in Glynn County, Georgia covering the trial for more than a week as attorney go through possible jurors.

Attorneys have found 23 of the 64 needed qualified jurors for the case.
Nineteen potential jurors were called in for questioning Monday. At least two of them were dismissed for hardships, the others were being questioned one by one through the afternoon.
The judge is hopeful the jury will be in place by the end of the week.

Greg and Travis McMichael, a father and son, are charged in the murder of 25-year-old Arbery in Feb. 2020.

Defense attorneys say the defendants committed no crimes. Greg McMichael told police they thought Arbery was a burglar after he had been recorded by security cameras inside a neighboring home under construction. He said his son shot Arbery in self-defense after Arbery attacked with his fists.
Prosecutors say Arbery was merely out jogging when he was killed. Investigators in the case have said Arbery was unarmed and they found no evidence he had stolen anything from the construction site.
