UPDATE: Tyson Evan Williams has been found safe, according to Albany police. Williams contacted his parents and assured them he is OK and unharmed.
“His parents say they are grateful for the Albany community and their assistance,” police said.

Albany police are asking for your help to find a missing college student who is from the metro Atlanta area.
Tyson Evan Williams, 18, was reported missing by his family to the department. Williams, who is originally from Decatur, was last seen at around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
Police said his family is extremely concerned about where he could be. WGXA reports Williams’ mother last spoke to him on Friday about his plans to visit home in DeKalb County.

He was last seen near his apartment complex off East Whitney Avenue in Albany. His cellphone was found at the apartment, according to WGXA.
Williams is a Black 18-year-old who stands 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 155 pounds. He also has his ears pierced, according to the missing person report.
