Amber Alert canceled: 2 missing North Carolina children found safe in Georgia

IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — UPDATE: Two missing siblings from Iredell County, North Carolina have been found safe, officials said.

Iredell County officials said 4-year-old Easton G. Redmon and 2-year-old Annsleigh R. Redmon were found around 1 a.m. Thursday in Georgia. They were reported abducted Wednesday.

An Amber Alert has been issued for two children missing out of North Carolina who deputies believe may be heading for Georgia.

The Iredell County Sheriff`s Office is searching for 4-year-old Easton G. Redmon and 2-year-old Annsleigh R. Redmon. The office said the two children were allegedly taken by their mother, 25-year-old Amanda Redmon.

The children were last seen at 115 Dobson Farm Road in Statesville. Their vehicle is a gray 2014 Honda Odyssey with a North Carolina license plate: HAD-6654.

Deputies believe Amanda Redmon and the two children may be traveling to Augusta.

Easton is about 3 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 50 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing pink, blue-checkered button up shirt and dark-colored shorts.

Annsleigh is 2 feet tall and weighs 25 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green shirt with a gold graphic and cream-colored pants.

Amanda Redmon is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a beige sweater, multicolored leggings and brown boots.
