ATLANTA — The Atlanta Hawks announced that based on the recently updated Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, State Farm Arena has the ability to open every seat for the first-round matchup against the New York Knicks.
The first game at State Farm Arena will be Friday.
The decision was based on numerous factors.
State Farm Arena worked with local officials, health experts and got the final approval from the NBA.
This is great news as the Hawks make another appearance in the postseason. Having as many fans as possible in support of this young team could be just what the team needs to move on to the next round of play.
