ATLANTA — The severe weather risk is over for metro Atlanta and north Georgia and heavy rain has finally moved out of the area.
Severe Weather Team 2 tracked showers and storms throughout the night and this morning as the system moved through.

Here’s what you should know for Monday:
- It will be a gusty day with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s most areas.
- A weak cold front moves through the area Tuesday with morning lows in 40s and 50s.
- The threat of severe weather returns Thursday and will bring more rain into Friday.
