ATLANTA — NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center issued its winter weather outlook Thursday.
Channel 2’s chief meteorologist Glenn Burns says Georgia will have equal chances for above or below average temperatures this winter. However, given the close proximity to the predicted warmer areas, I would suspect we will see average to slightly above average temperatures this winter.
Precipitation is expected to be below average over the next 90 days.
You can count on Channel 2’s Severe Weather Team 2 meteorologists to track the latest winter weather as it happens.
