ATLANTA — Police need help tracking down a black Ferrari stolen from a Buckhead parking garage.

Security video shows someone driving away in it Sunday. Moments before, a concierge confronted a man in a red jacket.

Police think he's the suspect.

The car, worth more than $200,000, was stolen from a garage on East Paces Ferry Road.

“We certainly don’t want to have stolen vehicles on the street,” said Atlanta Sgt. John Chafee.

The owner told police his key-fob was missing, and the car was unlocked. The owner said there was $300 in cash and gun inside the car.

A police spokesperson told Channel 2 Action News they are concerned because stolen cars are being used in other crimes.

“We can’t have somebody stationed at those key boxes every day, we need cooperation from the valets to make sure those keys are secure,” Chafee said.
