ATLANTA — Atlanta police are working to learn what led up to three people being stabbed.

On Sunday, just before 7 a.m., Atlanta officers were called to Edgewood Avenue in northeast Atlanta regarding several people being stabbed.
When police arrived, they found three men with apparent stab wounds.
Authorities said a 28-year-old man had a stab wound to his hand, a 30-year-old man sustained multiple stab wounds, and a 33-year-old man also sustained numerous stab wounds.
According to APD, the 28-year-old and 33-year-old men were stable, while the 30-year-old man was in critical condition.

All three victims were self-transported to the hospital for medical treatment. Their identities were not released.
APD is working to learn what led up to the incident. Officials have not said if a suspect was in custody.
The investigation is ongoing.
