ATLANTA — An overnight shooting in northwest Atlanta has left one man dead.
Police say they were called to the 20 block of Griffin Street around 12:30 a.m. in reference to a person who had been shot.

The man, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators say details are limited, but it appears to be a targeted incident where multiple rounds were fired.

Homicide detectives say they have collected ballistic and electronic evidence and are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
No details have been released on any possible suspects.
