ATLANTA — Police said one man was shot and another man was injured during an attempted robbery at a gas station near Georgia State University Sunday night.
Police responded to reports of a shooting at the RaceTrac on Piedmont Ave around 5:10 p.m. Officers found one man at the scene with a gunshot wound and another man with an injured arm.

Police learned that several suspects tried to rob the two victims. One victim was shot and the other sustained an injury to the arm during a scuffle with the suspects.
The victims’ injuries were not life-threatening. The victims have not been identified. Officials at Georgia State University said the victims were not affiliated with the university.
Police have not indicated if any of the suspects are in custody.
The incident is one of several shootings in Atlanta over All-Star weekend.
