ATLANTA — A 1-year-old girl is celebrating Valentine’s Day in a very special way -- with a brand new heart.
Baby Marliee spent 250 days in the hospital, but finally received her new heart thanks to a donor family, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta said on Facebook.
Marliee also has a sweet pal to snuggle up with on the holiday: Uno the therapy dog.

Children’s posted a photo of Marliee in recovery holding the therapy dog’s paw. The hospital has a fleet of therapy dogs who help comfort children in the hospital.
Well-wishers posted messages to Marliee, wishing her a speedy recovery.
“Prayers for this precious little one. Love this picture,” one Facebook user wrote.
