More than two-thirds of the workers at Atlanta Medical Center have accepted jobs at other Wellstar facilities.
A company spokesperson says 1,742 employees work at AMC.
More than 1,300 workers have accepted other jobs, the health system said.
Wellstar is closing Atlanta Medical Center on Nov. 1.
Channel 2 Action News has also learned that a food service company that contracts with AMC is laying off 68 employees.

AMC is one of two Level 1 trauma centers in the Atlanta area — Grady Memorial Hospital is the other one.
Other Level 2 trauma centers like Wellstar Kennestone, Gwinnett Medical and Wellstar North Fulton will handle patients who depended on AMC’s Level 1 trauma center.
Wellstar Health System said that in the past six years of operating the hospital, it has invested more than $350 million to support losses.
Officials add that in just the last 12 months, the hospital has lost more than $107 million.
The health system said it will gradually “wind down” services offered at the hospital until it closes.
