ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating a triple-shooting involving teenagers in a local apartment complex.
They said officers were called to the Providence at Cascade Apartments on Fairburn Road around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. Police said they found two people at the scene who had been shot.
Channel 2's Steve Gehlbach learned just before noon Tuesday that a 14-year-old has the most serious injuries and is still on life support after getting shot in the lower back.
A 19-year-old who was shot in the hip and leg was also taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The family of a 15-year-old victim drove him to the hospital.
All three teenagers are being treated at Grady Memorial Hospital.

A woman who lives in the apartment complex where it happened told Gehlbach she was outside on her front steps when she saw a car pulled in, then heard 20 or more gunshots.
She said they started near a gazebo in the complex where the teenagers were hanging out, then spilled out into the parking lot.
She was too scared to show her face or give her name, but described the terrifying moments in detail.
“It was so close to us, (I saw) the fire come out (of) the gun,” she said. “I sat there because if I would have moved, I might have (gotten) shot. I really I just froze.”
"Not a lot of people are coming forward to give us information in the incident," Atlanta police Capt. Andrew Senzer said early Tuesday morning.
One neighbor told us the shooting may have been in retaliation to a car shot up about two weeks ago.
Another said the ongoing dispute was over a girl.
Police are still looking for the shooter.
