ATLANTA — Police said a 17-year-old boy was shot and killed during a fight at a city pool on Saturday.
Police said they were called out to reports of a person shot at Anderson Pool on Anderson Ave. around 6:40 p.m.

The victim was rushed to the hospital, where he died. He has since been identified as Jakari Dillard, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
An investigation revealed that the victim had been involved in an argument with another man that escalated into gunfire.

The shooter has not been identified.
The Anderson Park pool is one of City of Atlanta’s 12 outdoor public pools.

On Sunday, the city abruptly announced that all city pools are closing immediately for an “operational assessment.”
