ATLANTA — Two people have died after a wrong-way crash on the I-75/I-85 connector early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the southbound lanes of I-75/I-85 at Fulton Street just before 3 a.m. to find three cars that had been damaged.

Investigators say one driver was going northbound on the southbound lanes when they crashed into another car going the correct way down the highway.
The drivers of both cars were killed. Their identities have not been released.

After the accident, police say a third vehicle struck debris from the crash. The drivers of the third vehicle left the scene before officers arrived. Police are working to locate them.
Crash investigators are still working to learn what led up to the accident.
