ATLANTA — Atlanta police have arrested a man they believe is responsible for the shooting deaths of two people in an early morning shooting at a Midtown Atlanta apartment complex.
Police say they arrived at the Spectrum on Spring Apartments located in the 1200 block of Spring Street just after 2 a.m., Sunday morning where they found two people dead from gunshot wounds to their upper and lower torsos.
Sunday evening, police say they arrested Phillip S. Mills and charged him with two counts of murder and aggravated assault. Mills was taken to the Fulton County Jail without incident.

Police have not released the victim’s identities.
