ATLANTA — With thousands of cities worldwide, a new list from U.S. News has ranked two popular Georgia cities as the best places to live.

The ranking included the 150 most popular metro areas which were categorized by having good value, being a desirable place to live, having a strong job market, and a high quality of life.
With an overall score of 6.5, U.S. News ranked Savannah as 37th on the list of best places to live. The city’s charm and thriving art scene put the Peach State city as a 6.6 for quality of life and a 6.6 for value.
Not too far from Savannah, Atlanta placed No. 64 on the best places to live. As one of the nation’s fastest-growing metro areas, according to U.S. News, the city is gaining attraction for its culture and commerce.

According to U.S. News, the best place to live is the home of the most storied football franchises in the NFL, Green Bay, Wisconsin with an overall score of 6.9 out of 10.
Huntsville, Alabama came in second, while Raleigh and Durham, North Carolina were third, also with an overall score of 6.9 out of 10.
Other cities that made the list was Sarasota, Florida, Charlotte, North Carolina and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
