ATLANTA — Atlanta Police said two men and a boy were shot at an apartment complex in northwest Atlanta Sunday afternoon.
The shooting happened around 2 p.m. at the Commons apartment complex. Police immediately found a boy and a man with gunshot wounds. They later found a third victim, also an adult, on Reeves Circle about a quarter of a mile away.

All three people were taken to the hospital. Their identities and conditions have not been released.

A witness told Channel 2 Action News that the gun violence has been out of control in the complex.

“It’s been gangs out here,” she said. “They’ve been shooting up people’s cars. They’ve been robbing people. Our kids are in danger here basically. We don’t even go outside really.”
The witness said a boy got shot in her building last week and she heard more gunfire last night.
Police are still investigating the circumstances of the shooting.
