ATLANTA — Authorities are investigating after two people were found dead at a Buckhead apartment complex.
Officials said two people were dead on two different floors of The Darlington on Peachtree Street.
One person was found on the 6th floor and the other on the 12th floor.
Atlanta police said one woman was using a space heater and it released enough carbon monoxide to kill her.
They said the carbon monoxide was confined to one apartment.

While investigating the woman's death, police said they smelled an odor that led them to a second body.
The body was badly decomposed.
“I think that’s crazy, and I think it’s very crazy they haven’t ever told us what’s going on at all. I just moved here, so this is a big shock to me,” Patrice Hutchinson said.
Police said the deaths are unrelated and no foul play is suspected.
