ATLANTA — Two people are in custody after a man was shot and killed inside a Buckhead apartment building, Atlanta police confirmed to Channel 2 Action News.
The shooting occurred just before 2 a.m. at the Prominence Apartments on Lenox Road NE.
Police say that when they arrived, they found two people in the back of a parking deck. One of them had been shot.

Investigators then found a man believed to be between 25 and 35 years old was found dead inside an apartment. Police say the man was a resident of the Prominence Apartments.
The two people found in the parking deck were then taken into custody. The man who had been shot was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and is undergoing surgery.
The woman was also detained and is being described as a person of interest. She was not injured.
The investigation is ongoing, but early signs point to the incident beginning as a drug robbery inside the victim’s home.

The identities of the suspects and victim have not been released.
