ATLANTA — Atlanta police are currently investigating a shooting that left three people injured.
Officers were called to the area of Lakewood Avenue SE and Jonesboro Road SE around 10:40 p.m. in reference to two people being shot.
Once crews arrived on the scene, they found three victims, including two male juvenile teenagers and one adult man. All three were transported to various Atlanta hospitals in stable condition.

Investigators say their preliminary investigation shows that the trio of victims were walking down the street when an unknown car pulled up next to them and began shooting, hitting all three of them.
Police have not released a description of the car or the suspect.
Neighbors in the area tell Channel 2 Action News crews say they heard at least six gunshots.
“It’s one thing after another, we’ve just gotten used to this,” said neighbor Acension Garcia. “It’s definitely concerning.”
