ATLANTA — A month-long investigation by the Atlanta police and its fugitive teams has led to three wanted suspects being arrested for armed robbery, aggravated assault and murder, officials announced on Wednesday.

On Aug. 15, Johnny Norman was arrested for an armed robbery that occurred at 352 University Avenue on May 5.
Norman tried to escape through his back porch. But he eventually gave up when he realized that law enforcement officers had completely surrounded the complex.

Terrance Taylor, who police said is a known gang member, was arrested on Aug. 16 for aggravated assault. Police said the arrest traced back to an incident that happened My 15 on Joseph E. Boone Blvd.

Authorities also arrested Demetrice Jones on Aug. 16 for a murder that occurred on Aug. 8 at Manor Apartments at 1483 Arthur Langford Jr Place SW.
Jones has been charged with murder.
