ATLANTA — Three McDonald’s managers helped to deliver a surprise baby girl at an Atlanta store the morning before Thanksgiving.
Sha’querria Kaigler, Keisha Blue-Murray and Tunisia Woodward were performing their normal duties at work at the store on Fulton Industrial Blvd when they suddenly heard a piercing scream from the bathroom, according to McDonald’s.

“The pregnant customer and her husband had stopped by the local Atlanta McDonald’s to use the restroom and grab a quick bite to eat. While in the restroom she realized that her water had broken and she was in active labor. As she began to give birth, she screamed, which alerted the McDonald’s crew members and her husband of her condition. Three employees rushed to her aid and ultimately delivered a healthy baby girl.”

The store’s owner, Steve Akinboro, called it “the epitome of a feel-good moment for my team” and awarded each employee with a $250 gift card to be used toward their Thanksgiving dinner celebrations.
“These three local Atlanta employees are a fantastic example of our crew making a difference for our customers and local communities every day!” McDonald’s officials said.
The mother and new baby were not identified.
