ATLANTA — A dozen people are sick after a salmonella outbreak across 11 states.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is investigating to find the specific brand of flour linked to the outbreak.

So far, 12 illnesses have been reported and three people have been hospitalized.
The CDC says you should not eat any raw dough or batter.

You should also wash any bowls, utensils, and surfaces that touched raw flour.
The CDC states that the outbreak is not limited to the states with known illnesses, and the true number is likely much higher than the number reported.
This is due to many people recovering without medical care and they weren’t tested for Salmonella.
