ATLANTA — At least four people were injured after a wrong-way driver caused a crash on Interstate 20 early Wednesday morning.
According to Atlanta fire officials, a crash on I-20 eastbound near Hamilton E. Holmes Drive led to a car fire, which was put out.
Atlanta police said the wrong-way driver crashed head-on into another vehicle, which led to multiple severe injuries.

The crash happened just before 3 a.m., according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. The eastbound lanes of the interstate were shut down for several hours before reopening just before 6:30 a.m.
They say four people were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and one of them is currently in critical condition.
