ATLANTA — Atlanta police said a man has died after he was hit by a vehicle on Friday.

Officers said they were called to the intersection of Campbellton Road and Delowe Road in southwest Atlanta.
When APD arrived, they found a 68-year-old man who sustained injuries from being hit by a vehicle.

The man was taken to a local hospital in critical condition but later died from his injuries.
According to Atlanta officials, the man entered the roadway, against the walking signal and fell before being hit by a vehicle.
The victim’s identity was not released. The investigation is ongoing.
