ATLANTA — Atlanta police arrested seven people during a large narcotics bust at a home in southwest Atlanta.
Police said they got multiple tips about illegal activity at an apartment in the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Drive. Investigators determined that narcotics were being sold from the apartment.

On Nov. 3, investigators executed a search warrant and were able to arrest the seven suspects, recover a large amount of narcotics, seven guns and over $12,000 in cash.

Police said the suspects were all gang members or repeat felons.

The drugs recovered included cocaine, MDMA, Xanax, marijuana, oxycodone, amphetamine and hydrocodone.
The people arrested were the following:
Marquez Anderson, 26: A known gang member with nine previous arrests.
Deon Davis, 30: A known gang member with six previous arrests.
Harold Ware, 23: A convicted felon with 18 previous arrests.
Alvester Bass, 65: A criminal with 33 prior arrests.
Angela Laney, 38: A criminal with three previous arrests.
Ashley Jews, 30: A convicted felon with six previous arrests.
Lakeisha Westbrooks, 31: A criminal with five previous arrests.
All seven suspects were charged with trafficking narcotics, possession of narcotics and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
