Neighbor Michael Browner said he noticed a woman who was very emotional outside an apartment at The Station at Richmond Hill.
“I heard... she just burst out and started crying,” Browner.
Homicide detectives say other adults were in the home at the time of the shooting and are being interviewed.
There is no word on if the shooting was accidental.
Mack’s death comes near one month to the day from when 6-month-old Grayson Fleming Gray was shot and killed as he rode in his mother’s car on Anderson Avenue. His mother, Kerri Gray, said she knows exactly what Mack’s parents are going through.
“The sadness doesn’t come until the first time you go to do something and realize that he’s not there,” Gray said.
Gray said we need more love and less anger if we are going to keep our children alive.
