ATLANTA — An investigation is underway after a shot fired called led to a woman being arrested.

The incident happened Sunday at a home on S. Olympian Way in southwest Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police Department, officers received a call about a dispute involving a weapon and shots fired at the home.
Police told Channel 2′s Larry Spruill that a woman suffering from a mental crisis was inside the home with an adult and two kids and she was shooting a gun.
Police were able to get the adult and two kids out safely but the woman remained inside.

Around 4:30 p.m., SWAT team members moved in with machines and tactical gear.
Spruill spoke with family members and neighbors who told him, the woman has been having a mental episode for days.
“The person has been shooting for three days straight. That would have been Friday, Saturday, and today. There was an incident this morning. Yesterday there were eight gunshots and today there were two,” the neighbor said.
Family members told Spruill the woman recently stop taking her medication.
Authorities have not confirmed the suspect or the victims’ identities or ages.
No injuries have been reported. This is an active investigation.
