‘Technical difficulties’ fixed at Atlanta 911 center after brief outage

ATLANTA — Technical difficulties stopped Atlanta residents from calling 911 for a short time on Tuesday afternoon.

Officials say that Atlanta E-911 had technical difficulties related to an issue with AT&T.

Police confirmed that they received word from AT&T that the issues have been resolved.

The center is now fully operational once again.
