Atlanta animal rescue has hilarious tips for new First dogs, Champ and Major

ATLANTA — An Atlanta animal rescue has some adorable tips for the new “first dogs.”

President Joe Biden brought two very special pals with him to the White House, his dogs Major and Champ.

The Bidens adopted Major from a Delaware shelter in 2018 and he is the first rescue dog to ever live in the White House.

On Wednesday, Lifeline Animal Project released a Twitter thread full of hilarious tips for the First pups.

“You’re going to hear the word ‘wing’ a lot. Sadly this means West Wing, not chicken wing. But if you follow the person who said it, they will probably take you to your dad for a quick belly scratch,” Lifeline advised.

The tips include not “doing your business” in the Rose Garden, how to get the best snacks and the best spot to sunbathe.

“Enjoy your new home Champ and Major! All of the shelter pets here at LifeLine wish you the best with your new adventure and can’t wait to see pictures of you in the new place,” Lifeline tweeted.
