Atlanta area Packers fans jam local restaurant every Sunday

ATLANTA — Metro area restaurants expect to be slammed this weekend, thanks to the Atlanta Falcons run to the Super Bowl.

But a Brookhaven bistro has become a favorite haunt for Green Bay Packers fans.

A group called Buckhead Area Packer Fans have packed the Kaleidoscope Bistro every game day for years.

General manager Jared Reisman says he’s never seen anything like them.

"It was nuts.It was standing room only. I can't tell you it was any louder in the stadium, then it was out there on that patio,” Reisman said.

Restaurants all around the metro expect to serve a lot of Wisconsin residents by week’s end.

But Packers fan John Hetzel is confident, as long as he's wearing his lucky Green Bay Sports coat --
a garment covered with Packers helmets.

"My daughter bought me this for my birthday this year. You might have heard the Packers are on an eight-game winning streak. Coincidentally, that eight-game winning streak coincides with my receiving this jacket. So this jacket is not coming off until we win the Super Bowl,” Hetzel said.
