Atlanta Dream player suspended ‘until further notice’

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Dream says one of its players has been suspended until further notice.

The Dream’s PR Twitter account tweeted about Chennedy Carter’s suspension on July 5.

“Due to conduct detrimental to the team, Chennedy Carter has been suspended until further notice.”

The Texas A&M alumnae was selected fourth overall in the 2020 WNBA Draft by the Atlanta Dream.

Carter became the youngest player in WNBA history to score 30 points at 21 years and 266 days when she put up 35 against Seattle (8/6).
