ATLANTA — A well-known establishment around for 35 years is reopening in a brand-new place.
Since the Atlanta Eagle closed in November 2020, the owners have been trying to find a new venue.
They found one and right now, a facelift is underway at Midtown Moon near Ansley Mall in Atlanta.
They hope to open in October in time for Atlanta Pride.

“In this place they can come enjoy be their selves and mingle with others. This is an everybody bar and I can’t wait to welcome everyone,” owner Richard Ramey said.
You may remember the Atlanta Eagle was raided in 2009 after an anonymous tip alleging illegal drug use, among other things.
Nothing came of it and the city of Atlanta paid out over $1 million in settlements to the victims.
