ATLANTA — An Atlanta man says he went for a jog Sunday morning and became the victim of an armed robbery.
Just after 5 a.m. near West Wesley Drive and Arden Road, he says two people in dark clothes tackled him to the ground, injured his arm, and then stole his belongings.
“I feel like it’s pretty bold. I mean, usually when you hear about this stuff, you now, like at the grocery store or like a busy shopping center and so now I feel like people are really like targeting people when they are by themselves and that’s scary and concerning to me,” one neighbor told Channel 2′s Michael Seiden.

The victim told police that the armed robbers were waiting behind a bush when they jumped out and started attacking him.
He tried to run away but they followed him and eventually tackled him to the ground.
The victim said they both pointed guns and started going through his pockets demanding his phone.
But they only got away with one of his Apple AirPods.
Atlanta police call this an ongoing investigation and are calling on the neighborhood to come forward with any information or security video.

“I’m really careful to actually not go outside when it’s dark in the mornings or in the evenings just because I do feel things happen and people are targeted when they are by themselves,” a neighbor said.
Just before Seiden and a Channel 2 Action News photographer made a live report near the scene of the armed robbery on Wednesday afternoon, a resident walked outside and snapped a photo of their license plate.
Seiden told the man who they were but he said he’s not taking any chances and want to help police track down the robbers before they strike again.
