ATLANTA — Atlanta Police say they arrested a woman who stabbed another woman with a knife after a dispute.
On Sunday, police responded to the report of a dispute at 900 Peachtree Street in northeast Atlanta.

When they arrived, they found a 22-year-old woman who had been stabbed.
The victim was alert, conscious and breathing and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Officials say the investigation showed the victim and suspect were in a physical dispute that escalated to the victim being stabbed.

Police identified the suspect as 27-year-old Ciara Henare. She was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, possession of a knife during the commission of a felony, disorderly conduct and obstruction.
