ATLANTA — The Atlanta Police Department will be conducting a reality-based training at Lenox Square on Sunday evening.
It’s unclear exactly what the training will consist of, but it will include APD and Atlanta fire personnel and equipment, according to officials.

The mall will be closed during the training, police said.
The training is not open to the public or the media, according to Atlanta police.

From 2020 to 2021, police responded to a number of shootings at the mall in Buckhead.
Although, the mall recently cited increased security measures decreasing these types of incidents at the mall in 2022.
