ATLANTA — A homicide investigation is underway after The Atlanta Police Department learned a man was found with multiple gunshot wounds Thursday night.
Police say around 10:42 p.m., law enforcement officials responded to a person shot call at 1940 Fisher Road in southeast Atlanta.

When police arrived on scene, they found a 35-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The man was taken to the hospital where he was listed as critical, however, he later died from his injuries.

The APD Homicide Unit arrived on scene to investigate further.
Police did not release any additional details as their investigation is ongoing.
