Channel 2′s Tyisha Fernandes was on Cleveland Ave., where police said a person ran from officers and led them on a foot chase through the woods.

On Monday, Anthony Frazier, 51, was shot and killed outside a restaurant in the exact same area.

Police would not say if the chase and Frazier’s death were connected. So far, no one has been taken into custody in either crime.

Witnesses told Fernandes that said they saw shell casings on the ground.

Fernandes talked to three independent sources, who all said the chase was related to Monday night’s fatal shooting.
