ATLANTA — Atlanta police announced that they have located three children who disappeared Thursday night.
Friday morning, authorities said they were looking for 6-year-old Jayla McDaniel, 10-year-old Author Patterson and 14-year-old Amiya Patterson, who were last seen Thursday evening.
The children’s mother said she last saw them at the park near their home on Perry Blvd NW Thursday around 3 p.m.

Surveillance video from Circle K on Hollywood Road captured the three children walking around at 4:22 p.m.
Authorities have not provided specifics on the investigation but confirmed that they are safe.

The children’s grandmother said they usually got to the park but always return home.
“That’s what we’re so shaky about. Because they know to come back from the park but they didn’t come back this time,” Alkini Patterson said.
