Missing 11-year-old boy found safe, police say

ATLANTA — UPDATE: Atlanta police announced 11-year-old Kemari Merkerson has been located in good condition.

ORIGINAL: Atlanta police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 11-year-old, officials said.

Kemari Merkerson was last seen on Monday around 8 p.m. in the 1200 block of Westridge Road.

Police say he is 4-foot-9 and weighs 75 pounds.

He has black hair, with the ends dyed blond and was last seen wearing a gray tank top, black pants and red shoes.
