ATLANTA — Atlanta officials announced a modified trash and solid waste pickup schedule for the Christmas holiday.
According to city officials, pickup of garbage, recycling, yard trimmings and bulk items will be paused on Wednesday as the city government observes the holiday.
As a result, all collection services will be delayed.
“Residents whose regular collection day is Friday should place their carts curbside by 7 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, for service,” officials said.
