Atlanta police said units did respond to reports of street racing in the area but did not find anyone or issue any citations. It’s unclear if Atlanta police intend to follow up on the reports.
One witness told Channel 2 Action News that seeing the cars and the amount of people in the area was a scary experience.
“It could just take one person to lose control and you wipe out 20 to 30 people,” he said.
