Buckhead family of stolen dog is offering $1,000 reward for safe return

ATLANTA — A family said someone broke into their car and stole their dog.

They said they left the car for a minute to pick up food and when they got back, the car was broken into and the dog was gone.

It happened, Friday night around 10:30, in the Buckhead Village, right across the dog park.

The family wants their dog back, but most importantly, they said they need him soon because the dog is on medication.

“They shattered my passenger side window and took my 3-year-old Pug, who has heart condition, he’s on medication and he won’t do well without them. We’re asking anyone who has any information on him or the people who sees him, please drop him off at a Paws or Fulton County Animal Shelter,” said owner Marc Castillo.

There’s a $1,000 reward for the dog’s safe return.
