In the video, she said that while she was in Atlanta her skin became dry and irritated, and she had determined Atlanta’s water must have been the culprit.
“I started putting moisturizer and moisturizer to the point that it’s like it started getting so irritated that I started putting Vaseline. I went the old-school way,” the 29-year-old said.
Cardi B’s husband, rapper Offset, is a metro Atlanta native and the pair is known to spend time in Atlanta.

The City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management disagrees with Cardi B. They say there are no issues with Atlanta’s water supply.
In a statement released Thursday, the DWM confirmed that weekly water hardness tests show that the city water’s calcium and magnesium levels are considered low by the Environmental Protection Agency.
They also add that they conduct 50,000 tests on the city’s drinking water each year. These tests show that the drinking water meets or exceeds EPA standards.
