ATLANTA — If you’re looking to try a pint of some locally brewed beer, then you will have plenty to choose from this weekend as the state celebrates “Georgia Beer Day.”
The annual event is sponsored by the Georgia Craft Brewers Guild and is on Saturday, March 4.
More than 70 breweries across the Peach State will be offing special commemorative pint glasses, with $1 from each glass benefiting GCBG.

“Georgia Beer Day is a day to celebrate local beer, and support our small breweries across the state that help make our communities great places to live, work, and visit,” Georgia Craft Brewers Guild spokesman Joseph Cortes told the Gainesville Times. “It’s also an opportunity to support the organization that serves the craft brewing industry through advocacy, education, and awareness.”
