ATLANTA — Channel 2 Action News Anchor Justin Farmer will be inducted into the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences prestigious Silver Circle Friday.
The honor is given to television professionals who have committed at least 25 years of their lives to the television industry.
Farmer joined WSB-TV in 2008.

Before then, Farmer’s career has taken him to markets across the country, including Salt Lake City, Oklahoma City, Denver and Dallas
During his time in the television industry, Farmer has worked on several special assignments, including a trip to the White House for a one-on-one sit down interview with President Barack Obama. He’s also traveled overseas with three different Georgia Governors covering stories from Cuba, Panama and the U.S.-Mexico border
Veteran journalist and retired WSB-TV anchor Jocelyn Dorsey will also be inducted into the Gold Circle, which honors people who have at least 50 experience in the television industry.

“Candidates will have made significant contributions not only to the industry but to their communities in the southeast regional market,” according to NATAS.
Farmer and Dorsey will be honored at a ceremony at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead on September 9.
