It was an exciting day at Channel 2 Action News as it announced Friday that the station will partner with Univision Atlanta’s Channel 34.
It’s one way for Channel 2 Action News to expand its reach across the Atlanta metro and get to more stories that impact viewers.
Channel 2 Action News welcomed the Noticias 34 team to its newsroom Friday as their general manager signed a deal allowing Channel 2 Action News to share stories and collaborate on investigations.
“It goes beyond News 2. There is going to be community endeavors that we can do to benefit our community and the partnership is there, so this is the beginning of great things,” Univision Atlanta President and General Manager Ivan Shammas said.
Noticias 34 is one of 65 TV stations across the country telling stories for Univision.
The team has been working for metro Atlanta since 2002.
