The honor goes to only a select few of Georgia’s burgeoning Hispanic community. Tuesday afternoon in a ceremony held at Truist Park, Channel 2 Action News anchor Wendy Corona was named on of the 50 Most Influential Latinos in Georgia for 2021.

Corona made the final cut after several rounds of voting by a committee chosen by the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She and the other 49 selected were honored during the ceremony which recognized the most influential members of Georgia’s fast growing Latino community.

The chamber has compiled this list for the past three years. Corona was selected as part of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s original list created in 2018.
