ATLANTA — Thousands of college football fans are flocking to downtown Atlanta where two of the country’s best teams will square off against each other in the Peach Bowl on Wednesday night.

Fans from both Arizona State and Texas gathered at the Georgia Aquarium for fan night and a big pep rally on Tuesday.

The fans were fired up to hear their school’s bands perform their fight songs as they prepared for the college football playoff quarterfinal game.

Fans of all ages traveled from near and far to be there.

Channel 2′s Michael Seiden met a couple from San Francisco who are facing a bit of a dilemma because they are a “house divided.”

“I went to school there from 2012 to 2016. So... some bad years. But this is it, I think we’re looking really good,” Texas fan Addison Chu said.

“It’s a lot of fun. I lived here when I was really, really young when I was a baby so I don’t really remember it. But I feel like everybody is really nice. That’s what I’ve noticed since I’ve been here,” Arizona State fan Addison Davis said.

“So what happens after the game? Are you guys going to stay together?” Seiden asked.

“I don’t know, we’ll have to see how it goes tomorrow,” she laughed. “Just kidding.”
